OHMPAA Annual Meeting

Many thanks to the voting members who came to the annual meeting on March 16. We would like to thank retiring board members Carol Huotari, Shelly Shibles and Jenn St.Pierre for their years of service on the OHMPAA board. We will miss them.

Please join us in welcoming new board members Kelsey Franklin, Richard McIntosh and Kenn Sawyer.

We also thank president Terry Cole, who chose to step down from her office this year to take on a large OHMPAA project. Norman Hutchins was elected president. Other officers are: Jenny Adams, vice president; Susan Alberi, secretary; and Connie Allen, treasurer. Elton Cole is assistant treasurer.

Thank you!

Many thanks to New Balance, Western Maine Health, Norway Savings Bank, Rupert and Suzanne Grover, and Ripley & Fletcher, who have all signed on as show sponsors for 2014!

Congratulations to the cast of our first show of the 2014 season, What the Butler Saw. We look forward to lots of laughs from Elton Cole, Holly Hill, Rachael Leighton, Isaiah Alexander, Steve Sessions and Kyle Martin.

Our 2014 season

We hope you will join us for our 2014 season.

First up is What the Butler Saw, a subversively witty farce directed by Tom Littlefield. Performances will run June 19-29.

In August (14-24) Kenn Sawyer will direct a historical gem (in more ways than one): a musical called Rough and Ready, set in a California gold rush town of the same name. Longtime Hills residents may remember the 1969 high school production.

Our final full stage production of the season (November 13-23) is another musical: Honk! Helmed by Carol Jones, Honk! is a retelling of the Ugly Duckling story and is suitable for all audiences.

As always we have an "OHMPAA extra" or two under wraps. Look for an announcement early next year!
