OHMPAA - Community Theater in the Hills

How to get tickets

Locally

Tickets are available in person only at our ticket agent (no calls, please): The Tribune, 430 Main Street, Norway, Maine. The Tribune sells tickets for OHMPAA as a courtesy and convenience for our patrons. This helps us keep our prices low. The Tribune only accepts cash or checks made out to OHMPAA. Current hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10-2.

By telephone

If you are out of town, please call OHMPAA at 207-613-5232 to reserve tickets. Leave a message with your name, number, the performance date and number of tickets you need. We will return your call to confirm. You may pay for the tickets at the door; cash or check only, please.

COVID-Safe Protocols

Your safety and the safety of our cast, crew, and staff are our first concerns. Therefore, we will be following the current Maine CDC guidance for our production of Monty Python’s Spamalot.

Per guidance from the CDC, persons in counties with “substantial” or “high” levels of COVID-19 community transmission are advised to wear face coverings in public indoor settings. At this moment, Oxford County is at a high transmission rate zone (as determined by the CDC). For more information on Maine’s current COVID guidance and status, please refer to the State of Maine’s COVID Response webpage. (https://www.maine.gov/covid19/)

Therefore, we will be requiring ALL of our audience members to wear face masks while in our building.

Please bring a mask with you when you arrive; if you forget we will have some disposable masks available at the door.

If you are not feeling well, please do not attend the performance. We will either refund your ticket or offer an alternative option.

Hope to see you at the show!

About our theater

COVID

For the safety of all our patrons, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, we ask that all audience members wear masks while inside the building. We will have disposable masks available should you need one.

Seating

The Grange theater holds 100 patrons in general admission (unreserved) seats. Our house managers do their best to seat groups together; large groups should arrive early for the best options.

Accessibility and patron comfort

Our theater is on the second floor of the Norway Grange. There is an outside ramp for wheelchair access to the first floor and a stair chair for the second floor. There is no elevator.

In warmer weather we install two window air conditioners at the rear of the house. We run them before performances begin and during intermission to cool the room down, but shut them off during the show so they don't drown out the actors.

There are two single unisex restrooms, one on each floor.

Show times

Evening shows (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) begin at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday matinee begins at 2:00 p.m.

Advance tickets

Tickets go on sale 3 to 4 weeks before the first performance.

You must purchase tickets in person at The Tribune. Cash or check only, no calls please.

Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the performance venue starting one hour before opening curtain.

At the door

If tickets remain available on the day of a performance, they may be purchased at the performance venue box office one hour before show time. The box office accepts cash or checks made payable to OHMPAA.

We are unable to take credit cards at the door.

Ticket prices

Tickets for musicals are $12 for adults, $10 for students/children 18 and under and senior citizens 55 and above.
